Ingredients

  • 2 shots Espresso Can be regular or decaffeinated espresso
  • 1/2 tsp Dark Molasses (Optional)
  • 1 tbsp Dark Brown Sugar Can sub in light brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Gingerbread Spice Mix
  • 1/2 cup Milk/Creamer Can substitute non-dairy if desired
  • 1 pinch Cinnamon Sugar (Optional)

Instructions

  • To a microwaveable pitcher or small jar add the brown sugar, gingerbread spice, and the milk/creamer.
  • Warm the milk/non-dairy milk in the microwave until steamy about 30 seconds then whisk or froth the milk to combine the sugar and spices.
  • Make 2 shots of espresso and pour into your cup, add the molasses if using, then top it with the steamed/frothed milk.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if desired.

Notes

You do not need to froth the milk but it should be warm and steamy so the sugar and spices will blend together and the latte stays nice and hot.
Dark brown sugar has a bit more molasses in it but light brown sugar will work if you don't have the dark brown sugar.
You can use 1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee if desired.
