Ingredients

Garlic Herb Butter

  • 4 tbsp Unsalted butter softened
  • 1/4 tsp Fresh Thyme
  • 1/4 tsp Fresh Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Fresh Parsley
  • 1 Garlic clove, minced

Slider Sandwich

  • 6 Gluten-Free slider buns/dinner rolls Whole Foods Brand has gluten-free dinner rolls in the frozen food section
  • 4 slices Deli ham uncured or domestic ham, do not use smoked or black forest ham.
  • 4 slices Prosciutto
  • 1/2 tsp Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Black Pepper
  • Flaky Salt optional

Instructions

  • Pre-heat the oven to 400°F

Make The Garlic Butter

  • Soften butter slightly in the microwave so it becomes spreadable, it's ok if it's more melted.
  • Add the fresh herbs and minced garlic and set aside.

Prepare the Sliders

  • On a large baking sheet add enough aluminum foil to wrap the sliders completely.
  • Cut slider buns/rolls in half horizontally and set the top aside. Place the bottom onto the aluminum foil.
  • Spread the softened butter mixture all over the slider buns, leaving a bit to spread onto the top buns.
  • Sprinkle a layer of the mozzarella cheese over the butter mixture. Then sprinkle some black pepper over the cheese.
  • Cut or break the prosciutto and deli ham into pieces and place them onto the buns.
  • Add the mozzarella evenly over the deli meat, then sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the mozzarella.
  • Add the black pepper over the cheese, then put the top of the slider buns back on.
  • Spread the remaining butter over the top of the slider buns, lightly sprinkle with a bit more black pepper and the flaky salt, then cover with the aluminum foil.
  • Bake for approx 15 minutes until the cheese is melted, then uncover the slider buns and bake an additional 5 min to brown the top a bit.
  • Remove the slider buns from the aluminum foil and place on serving platter. Serve warm.

Notes

Roasted Red Peppers or Sun-dried Tomatoes can be added if desired.
