A few favorite things – gifts for the cook ’22 has a few favorites items that any cook would love to have.
These are some of my favorite kitchen tools along with a few fun ideas thrown into the mix.
For The Cook
- Kitchen Mitts – These are a nice change from the normal kitchen gloves. They make it easier to grab things and come in a variety of colors.
- Kitchen Shears – Perfect for cutting open bags, deboning chicken, every kitchen should have one or two pairs dedicated just for food prep.
- Mini Frother – Great for frothing milk for your coffee or mixing your hot chocolate, it comes with a stand and many different color options. I also love to use it to mix up homemade salad dressing.
- Quarter Sheet Pan – This is great for small families, the college student, and for baking or roasting small batches of things. It gets used more than you think.Â
- Half Baked Harvest Cookbook – You can’t go wrong with any of her cookbooks. She has the most delicious recipes.
- Focaccia Baking Kit – A fun idea for the bread lover.
- Olive Ranch Olive Oil – You can find this Olive Oil at most supermarkets. It’s a chef’s go to olive oil, is produced in California and is very flavorful.
Stocking Stuffers
While some of these ideas come in groups you can split them or keep one for yourself.Â
8. Wooden Spurtle – These are great for scooping and getting into the rounded pots and pans when stirring. Originally made for oatmeal, they are a great addition to any kitchen.
9. Oven Thermometer – Most ovens don’t keep accurate temperature. Having one of these in the oven is essential.
10. Garlic Peeler – This will make peeling that pesky skin off the garlic clove so much easier.
