Grilled Peaches with Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Peach cut in half, pit removed
  • 1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil or neutral oil
  • 2 scoops Vanilla Ice Cream can sub in a caramel vanilla combo
  • 2 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 pinch Maldon Sea Salt Flakes optional
  • 1 Tbsp Pistachios Raw, finely chopped

Instructions
 

  • Wash the peach then cut it in half and remove the pit.
  • Pre-heat the gas grill to medium or warm a grill pan.
  • Brush each of the cut sides of the peach with the 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
  • Place the peach cut side down onto the grill and cook for 5-6 minutes until you see nice grill marks and the peach is starting to soften, flip and cook another 5-6 minutes until the peach is warmed through and soft.
  • Remove the peach halves from the grill and place them into individual serving bowls cut side up.
  • Add one scoop of vanilla ice cream to the top of each peach.
  • Drizzle each peach with the honey, then sprinkle with the sea salt flakes and pistachios.

Notes

You can substitute extra virgin olive oil in place of the honey.
