Grilled Peaches With Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients

Peaches – You can use white or yellow peaches, just make sure they are ripe

Oil – Use a neutral oil or light olive oil

Ice Cream – Vanilla ice cream works best but you can play around and maybe use a caramel ice cream also

Honey– You will need 2 tbsp of light honey

Sea Salt Flakes (Optional) – Maldon sea salt flakes for that sweet salty combo

Pistachios – Raw or toasted finely chopped pistachios adds a nice crunch and flavor

Instructions

Wash the peach then cut in half and remove the pit.

Pre-heat the gas grill to medium or warm a grill pan.

Brush each of the cut sides of the peach with the 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil.

Place the peach cut side down onto the grill and cook for 5-6 minutes until you see nice grill marks and the peach is starting to soften, flip and cook another 5-6 minutes until the peach is warmed through and soft.

Remove from the grill and place into a serving bowl cut side up.
