A Few Favorite Things- Vol 3

Here are a few favorite things that I love to use regularly and a few things that have caught my eye.

It’s the second week of August and I’m already thinking of fall desserts and recipes. In addition, I’m still trying to build up the shore house kitchen along with some other items I still need for some of the rooms. While I like the warmer weather, I’m truly ready for cozy sweaters and cozying up with some fun coffee and tea beverages.

Here are this weeks favorites.

Book Love

I’ve had this Baked Cookbook for several years, it has the best granola recipe that you can tweak to your liking, and my families favorite banana espresso chocolate chip muffin recipe.

Beauty Favorites

Even though I love a good manicure, I hate the expense. These Opi Drip Drying Drops make an at home manicure so much easier. They shorten the dry time of your nail polish so you can get on with your day. Total game changer.

The Kitchen

I believe every kitchen needs a scale. With so many recipes on the internet not all measurements are in cups, having a scale helps you make any recipe that appeals to you. It also helps if your into sourdough baking or just weighing items to fill jars for instance. This is my favorite scale Oxo Kitchen Scale.

For The Traveler

A few simple pieces of inexpensive jewelry is perfect for travel. I’m loving this Hammered Bar Necklace from The Sis Kiss. It’s lightweight, comes in gold/silver, and it holds up well when getting wet. You can put it on and leave it on all through your trip if you wanted, or you can layer it if it’s something your interested in doing.

Something To Make

One of may favorite dishes, Italian Green Beans and Potatoes is especially good with grilled steak. In addition, it’s also so good with just some crusty bread for a light lunch or dinner. Since I’m gluten-free I tend to toast the gluten-free bread for myself and serve regular bread to others.

Have a great week!
