A few weeks ago I grabbed takeout from Wegman’s and this baked salmon with brown sugar crust was the main course. I knew after looking at the simple ingredient list that I was going to be making it at home moving forward. It has to be my favorite new way to eat salmon, and you more than likely have all the ingredients in your pantry.
However, this Salmon With Strawberry Salsa is another recipe my family really loves. It’s an easy salmon recipe, full of flavor and perfect for summer eating.

Ingredients
- Salmon – Get boneless, skinless salmon for this recipe. Wild caught will cook faster than farm raised salmon.
- Salt – Use regular table salt
- Black Pepper – Use fresh ground if possible
- Brown Sugar – Dark brown sugar has a richer flavor but you can use light brown sugar if that’s all you have on hand.
- Garlic Powder

Recipe Tips
- Use boneless skinless salmon
- You can use dark or light brown sugar
- Wild caught salmon will take only a few minutes to cook, whereas farm raised salmon because it’s thicker in nature will take a bit longer to cook

- Once cooked removed from the baking sheet and serve.
Notes
Wild caught salmon fillets will only require a few minutes to cook as they are usually thinner than farm raised fillets.
