These gluten-free easy roast beef sliders are great for parties and gatherings.

Just because you’re gluten-free doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy slider sandwiches. The tricky part, of course, is finding gluten-free buns that will work to make them. By substituting gluten-free rolls these sliders are just as good as the non gluten-free version. Want to mix up the flavoring, these Mozzarella and Prosciutto Sliders are another option to consider.

Why You'll Love Them

  • They are  perfect for parties or just a fun family meal.
  • Gluten-Free
  • Easy to make

What Gluten-Free Bread To Use

I have been using these Gluten-Free Dinner Rolls from Whole Foods Market with a ton of success. However, I realize that not everyone has a Whole Foods nearby. You can try to substitute these Gluten-Free Sweet Rolls  however I’m not sure if the sweetness will overpower the sandwich. Your best bet is to look for gluten-free rolls in your freezer section and find something similar to the slider bun rolls. Another option would be to find mini gluten-free rolls and place them next to each other so you can layer everything together. You can also make your own if you feel inspired, there are a ton of recipes out there.

Ingredients

Butter – Use unsalted butter

Parsley – Fresh Parsley

Black Pepper

Garlic – You will need 1 clove of garlic, grated or minced.

Gluten-Free Slider Buns – I like to use these Gluten-Free Dinner Rolls from Whole Foods, or you can try to find mini gluten-free rolls and place them together on a baking sheet.

Deli Roast Beef – Thinly sliced roast beef.

Cheddar Cheese – Use sliced cheddar if possible it melts better, however you can use shredded in a pinch.

Creamy Horseradish Sauce – Use your favorite brand I like to use this one Creamy Horseradish Sauce. You can find it in the refrigerator section.

Maldon Sea Salt Flakes (Optional)

Instructions

  1.  Pre-heat the oven to 400°F.
  2.  Soften the butter to a spreadable consistency, you can microwave for a few seconds to soften you want it really soft but not runny.
  3. Add the minced fresh parsley and the minced garlic to the softened butter and set it aside.
  4. Place parchment paper or aluminum foil onto the bottom of the baking sheet.
  5. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom portion onto the prepared baking sheet. Se the top part of the slider buns to the side.
  6. Add a layer of the roast beef to the bottom of the slider buns, then top with a layer of the cheddar cheese.
  7. Flip the top buns over (so the inside is facing up) and spread a layer of the horseradish sauce over top them. Use more or less depending on how spicy you would like them. Flip the top buns onto the sandwich.
  8. Spread the butter mixture all over the top of the buns then sprinkle lightly with black pepper and the sea salt flakes.
  9. Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is fully melted.
  10. Take the aluminum foil off and bake an additional 5 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.

Recipe Tips

  • If when microwaving the butter to soften it becomes a bit liquid, just mix it into the more solid butter then add the parsley and garlic. It will thicken up and become spreadable as it sits.
  • Break the deli roast beef into pieces, this way when pulling apart during serving the large pieces of the roast beef don’t fall out and your left with an empty bun.

Storage Tips

Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 day. Gently re-heat in the microwave.
