I’m always looking for simple latte recipes. You know the ones that don’t require a lot of ingredients or syrups you have to buy. This iced French toast latte is not only easy to make but uses all the ingredients in your pantry. It’s amazing that a few simple ingredients can make this iced latte so delicious. A double shot of espresso, brown sugar, cinnamon, maple syrup, vanilla paste, and a pinch of sea salt flakes and you have a delicious coffee drink. When you want to change your iced coffee to something a bit warmer consider this Maple Sea Salt Latte or this Snickerdoodle Latte.

Ingredients
Brown Sugar – Use light brown sugar
Sea Salt Flakes – Maldon sea salt flakes are preferred but you can use fine salt if that’s all you have, just use a larger pinch.
Cinnamon
Maple Syrup – Pure maple syrup
Espresso – You will need a double shot of espresso
Vanilla Paste – Or you can use vanilla extract
Ice
Milk – Use your favorite milk dairy or non-dairy

Instructions
Add 1 tsp of brown sugar, 1 pinch of sea salt flakes, 1 tbsp of maple syrup, 1/2 tsp of vanilla paste, and 1 small pinch of cinnamon to a jar or mug.

Place the jar under the espresso machine and make a double shot of espresso.

Once the espresso is made stir espresso mixture using a spoon or a frother, or place a lid on the jar and mix until the espresso and other ingredients are combined.

Put ice into the serving glass then pour the espresso mixture over the ice.

Top with milk of choice and stir until combined.

Recipe Tips
- Use only a tiny amount of cinnamon or it will be overpowering, you can always sprinkle more on top if needed
- Beware using a jar with a fitted lid makes for easier shaking however sometimes it leaks. It may be easier to just stir or use a frother to mix it all together.
